"The air conditioning didn’t work and the floor was dirty"

"This hotel is very new. We had a pleasant stay for our one night visit to Pittsburgh. The bed was very comfortable and the property was quiet and well-maintained. The staff was helpful and courteous. There was a continental breakfast included. The location was close to restaurants and a movie theater in walking distance. There is a great fitness center and indoor pool included. We will return here during future Pittsburgh visits."

"Abandoned place. The only highlight was the staff, very friendly and helpful, but the hotel conditions are really bad. Dirty rooms, old carpets, 1 broken elevator, terrible breakfast."

"I got to the property very run down clutter all over the outside . Roof falling off out front . There was no one at the desk to check me in when I arrived around 11:30 pm . I walked out and never even stayed because there was nobody to check me in. Expedia needs to do a better job at monitoring the buildings they promote for people to stay in. A waste of money ."

"Breakfast Buffet did not have any of the hot foods that were promised upon check in."

"I enjoyed my stay. Only complaint would be that I paid about triple the usual rate due to a large group occupying many of the rooms. My dates were not flexible as I was visiting Children's Hospital for an appointment. That aside, the entire experience was pleasant. The facility was nice and the staff was friendly, especially Jesse at the front desk and another lady who appeared to be a lobby attendant of sorts."

"This was quite a nice surprise. We have stayed at a number of Wingates in various cities. This was by far the best of them. Nice comfortable bed. Spotless rooms, and a very good breakfast. Lots of variety. Shopping trip for my wife and I. Some pretty good deals to be had. A nice surprise was Costco was right around the corner."

"Room was very clean and spacious, had a personal welcome message on TV. We got the King Suite, 3rd floor. Plenty of parking, amenities available are gym, pool goes inside and outside, restaurant, bar, laundry room. They also have businesses in there as well."

"I asked for a receipt at check out and was told they couldn't give me one because I booked through Expedia. I'm still waiting. I need it to file a travel claim. And there is no way to contact Expedia without giving them information to sell so I get endless spam texts, emails and phone calls."

"Halls and elevators were dirty. Starbucks cafe had almost nothing for breakfast at 7 am. Had to call front desk twice in the morning because no one answered."

"The room had no so pleasant smell. And it looks like everyone had a pet- it seems like there is no system of designating rooms to those travelers who prefer pet room free rooms."
