"We stayed at the river rock as we were in Vancouver for a concert. We utilized the complementary parking, however the Parkade was a pretty long trek to haul our luggage to and from the car. Front desk staff was not interested in supporting us with trolly, or shorter routes to and from. Our bathroom did not have a bathroom fan, wall paper was peeling in the bathroom and lighting was also awful in the unit. "The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walking to the downtown core, and it's located in a very clean and safe neighborhood. Our room looked right out onto the water, and we took advantage of the new walking/running path that runs alongside the water. We even saw women jogging on the path alone after midnight, so you know it's a safe neighborhood. The room was squeaky clean and well-appointed. Our only complaint was that the room felt rather sparse, and needed more art on the...

"It was a clean and affordable room for a night before heading to the airport. Check-in staff was friendly and helpful. There was an incident with someone banging on the hallway door in the middle of the night for an extended period, no staff on site to address it."

"Clean rooms, outdated building, though inside the rooms it was ok and main lobby area is nice also. They should offer complementary breakfast, had to go to tim horton's to get toast and a bagel because they only offered this big "a la carte or buffet menu... " I recommend, close to the airport,close to restaurants in richmond. Room was clean and nice. Only bad comment we have is please remove carpets, it smells bad and keeps in moisture. We prefer hard surface flooring in hotel rooms."

"We booked one night over the weekend and we got a message on Wednesday evening saying the hotel could not accommodate us. We’ve been trying to contact the hotel to issue the refund and reached out to the expedia team and they’ve sent a request to process the refund but the hotel doesn’t not answer nor do they respond. We ended up having to pay more for the last minute change for our weekend and this was no ideal and very inconvenient."
