"De lobby was kil en sfeerloos. Overal felwitte spaarlampen. Slechte acoustiek zoals in een grot. De suite was groot en met gigantische terrassen met zicht al om. Het bed was van goede kwaliteit. De afwerking van de suite liet te wensen over. Er waren overweldigend veel knoppen voor de verlichting (wederom witte spaarlampen). De afwerking kon beter. Top Rideegama Hotel Reviews

Grand Serendib Hotel

8/10 Good

"A lovely boutique hotel with clean, comfortable, and well-designed rooms offering great views. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of food. However, dinner could be improved. If you opt for the half-board package, you are offered a limited, budget-style menu, while the à la carte menu comes at an additional cost. The dinner buffet is only available when the hotel is fully occupied. The real highlight of this hotel is its incredible staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, always smiling, and extremely helpful, making our stay all the more enjoyable. Interestingly, this level of friendliness and hospitality seems to be very common across all the hotels we have stayed at so far. Overall, a lovely hotel with wonderful staff, although the dinner arrangements could be more appealing for guests on a half-board package."
