"Overall my room was nice. However at check in I was asked to provide a card for pre-authorisation. I’ve been asked many times before but on this occasion $300 was taken from my account immediately. On checking out I was told this will take between 5-10 days to be returned to me. On a holiday budget this wasn’t ideal. Also breakfast each day was always the same. No one made any special effort to offer tea or coffee or to make anything different at all.

"We brought our 1 yr old along and she was absolutely excited! The highlight was having kangaroos right outside our room, casually grazing on the grass throughout the day. They seemed so calm and used to having people around that my initial fear of getting boxed by a kangaroo quickly disappeared. 😂
