"Die Zimmer waren sehr nüchtern eingerichtet, eher wie ein Heim, nicht wie ein Hotel. Toilette funktionierte nicht (kein Wasser!) und Zimmer war unzureichend geheizt. Frühstücksraum sehr schön, aber Frühstück liess zu wünschen übrig, nicht mal frisches Brot oder Brötchen, stattdessen Tiefkühlware."

Then it’s so nice to stay at this friendly hotel a little walk from the monastery and Biergarten. The room was nice and the breakfast wonderful. We hope we will come back."

"Traditional Bavarian hotel. No frills. Basic amenities, decent beds. They have a restaurant downstairs but we didn't use it. I didn't realize that breakfast wasn't included (there was a sign in German in the room that I guess I should have translated), so the piece of bread I grabbed on my way to a meeting ended up costing me €7.50, which was annoying. Also, my shower flooded after 2 minutes of running the water. My colleague had a larger room on the 2nd floor and it was nice but also basic....

"Breakfast was fresh each morning, and refreshed multiple times during the service each day. Location is convenient for arrival by car, and there is lots of parking available. Our room (S4) was very spacious and comfortable, with direct garden access. Staff was friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. "

Quit small bavarian town, excellent restaurant in walking distance, very tasty cakes and chocolate truffles made on site. Good location to explore the area south of munich, lots of attractions within 30 min drive."
