"Stayed here recently and had a decent overall experience. The hotel was clean, which is always a top priority for me, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth, and the common areas were generally well-kept. That said, the property is clearly showing its age. The rooms and facilities could really use some updates; things like worn furniture, dated decor, and minor maintenance issues (loose fixtures, weak water pressure, older appliances) stood out....

"Breakfast was not very good. Runny scrambled eggs, bacon not crisp, biscuit with sausage not appetizing, frozen Belgium waffles tough and hard."

"Breakfast was good-they had a mini waffle maker! I have never seen one of those in a hotel before! We made waffles everyday! The pool was nice-small but that was good for us. The staff were awesome-very helpful and friendly and patient with my grandma! "

"Do not get excited about breakfast being included. There was a choice of apple, cutie orange, cereal, yogurt, and bread to make toast. The cereal must have been popular because there was no milk left in either container. There was only a pool, and it was quite chilly. The room was adequate. "

"There was a really bad smell, I’m assuming the carpet throughout the entire building. The towels were really dingy & dirty looking & I guess they were supposed to bed clean. Breakfast was mediocre at best. I won’t ever go back."

"When I checked in for 2 rooms I made sure that pets were only allowed on the first floor. We were on the third floor and a dog barked and growled all night on our floor. There was also an overwhelming constant smell of pot throughout the hotel. We will not be staying there again."

"Basic hotel. worked as a place to stay on our drive from Mississippi to Minnesota. Breakfast has a decent selection. Close to freeway and a great Mexican restaurant. "

"Go anywhere else! Many better options! My partner and I road our bicycles 35 miles to come to Cedar Rapids and see a favorite band. When we tried to take our bikes to our room, the clerk yelled at us and said that we had to leave. Then, he charged me for the room. He would not work with us to provide any other place to secure the bikes and told us to go. Very rude and hostile towards bicycles and cyclists alike! Oh, and this place is a dump! Old and gross! "

"There was blood on the bed, a gap on the bottom of the door you can see people when they walk by. I didn't even sleep there walked in and our. Hallway had odor or weed and other paraphernalia. Asked for a refund and expedia and the motel wouldn't help. Both experiences were horrible"

"Rooms were very dated and dorm-like, but clean. It was very convenient and close to the airport. Breakfast was complimentary and offered several selections; the staff was also very friendly."
