Loved this hotel! Really friendly and helpful staff on Reception. Arrived late but wanted to take the train into the centre of Munich for a quick look around. Reception staff suggested parking on the roads outside the hotel as these were free. This was really helpful advice but we wanted to leave our ski stuff inside the car so decided to use the parking garage underneath the hotel instead. The train station is right next to the hotel. Third stay at this hotel, and once again couldn’t fault it. Staff were great and very helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast comes with a nice selection of cereals, yoghurts, breads, and cuts of meat and cheese, which is all very good. This hotel will always be my first choice when staying in Munich. Will hopefully be back soon.

Very nice hotel, feels very modern and new. Location is amazing, about 15 mins from the city centre on the tram which is right outside the hotel. It has great amenities and restaurants around it too. We were upgraded for free which was a really nice surprise. Parking is relatively expensive at 30 euros a day but you are in Munich and there are free alternatives around it if you have the time and patience to find them. If we ever stay in Munich again we will not look anywhere else but to stay at...

Stunning hotel

The hotel was very nice with good mattresses and bedding. The breakfast was expensive at €13 per person and did not warrant this charge. The listing said free parking was included at the hotel. This is misleading: While there IS limited free on-street parking, none was available when we arrived, so we had to pay €18 per night to park in the garage. No discount was offered for hotel guests despite the hotel having clear management of it and signage indicating this.

A fantastic small hotel. Not centrally located, but with Munich’s excellent public transport, this was never a problem. Staff were unbelievably good. The area around the hotel is beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Clean room and a very convenient location

This is our second time in the hotel , 8 years apart, the hotel is impeccable and very well maintained. Great area, perfect for a city break and very good for a family. Will recommend and hopefully will be back.

Had a fantastic stay at the motel 1! Rooms were very clean and modern, we got a corner room which was half the size of other rooms but well worth it for the massive windows covering the entire length of the room giving fantastic light and views! The shower is amazing, I literally didn't want to get out of it! The bar is nice but we found ourselves waiting to be served for long periods even when it wasnt busy. The motel is a 3 min walk to the nearest underground station and we felt safe at all...

Very clean and equipt

It is conveniently located, very close to Aidenbachstrasse U-Bahn. It is very nicely decorated, clean, staff is friendly. It is really very nice for a week's stay

Nice clean and quiet room with comfy bed and good bathroom facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful and hotel location good for visiting English Garden, centre of Munich and access to transport. Good breakfast too. Recommended.

We were happy to spend our evenings in the hotel bar. Well situated - within walking distance or short taxi ride of town centre, and in a lovely quiet area. Would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to friends. Staff were extremely helpful and polite.
