The hotel is very nice. The rooms are spacious.. but a bit on the expensive side hitting you with 40 bucks a day in resort fees. Also, this is not the place if you want to enjoy the beach. The Royal sonesta was a great stay! Will book again when in the area. Perfectly located near the airport and the beach. Walkable area. Customer service was excellent! They really go above and beyond to give you a top tier vacation vibe and experience.

The room was comfortable for our one night stay. The building is a nice older building centrally located to explore Old San Juan. There is a great little empanada bar located right next door. I would stay there again if visiting San Juan.
