"We had a great time for a Father's day trip. We enjoy camping and I was really happy to have so many amenities like the easy to use grills, nice showers and restrooms, and the ability to bring our dogs with us, that made it more like glamping! The landscape is extremely beautiful and as someone who likes birdwatching we saw and heard some cool birds while there, including a roadrunner. We stayed in the rv, which was very spacious and had everything I forgot to pack, like a spatula. Our hosts were very sweet, friendly, and helpful and I would love to return. There is a lot to do nearby, and it is very close to Garner, and we booked a day pass in advance since they sometimes fill up, and spent time by the river.

"Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. A convenience store is about a 5min drive. Garner State park is about 10min drive as well. Very scenic area. Great views "
