"5 stars! Loved staying at this charming and cozy hotel!"

"Loved this stay. Affordable, clean, quiet. It’s a bit far for a direct walk to downtown but there’s a bus stop right nearby, and we didn’t mind getting the extra walking in so mad the walk multiple times anyways. The campus is gorgeous, you can walk by the River and get a nice view of a castle. Campus wasn’t busy at all. Highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for somewhere affordable. I’ll probably be staying here whenever I’m in the city in the future."

"What a lovely guesthouse! It is spotlessly clean and quiet, and Patricia is a welcoming and gracious host. She prepares wonderful breakfasts each day. I highly recommend Mountain View if you want a Galway-area stay, a bit outside the city."

"This property is great. Parking is plentiful and it’s quiet. The staff are lovely and the rooms and public spaces are nice. The bar is in the restaurant so we never used it (which is probably good - the restaurant always seemed full). On that note, we did eat in the restaurant and it was very good. The roasts looked amazing. We did picky bits from starters and sides and all were lovely. The breakfast is good. It can get busy and the scrambled eggs are sometimes quite wet (but not always)....

"Great location! We were able to walk the city so easily! The rooms were small, but we knew that going into the reservation. The beds were comfortable and they had water for us in the fridge which was very thoughtful. We only ate breakfast once down in the restaurant and they had a lot to offer! The bar /coffee shop/restaurant vibe is super cool. The only complaint I have is that the day we arrived, the elevator stoped working, so every time we needed to go back to our room, it was a three floor...

"This hotel is not 4 star quality. The gold velour cover on the bed had a stain on it. Bathroom was missing shampoo. Generally felt dated."
