"The location was convenient for our needs. It was quiet. The listing did not let you know that you had to leave your room for your “private “ bath. The listing stated there was air conditioning, there was a fan. Wayne was friendly and personable."

"I have stayed at hotels offering free breakfasts before, but by comparison, those free breakfasts couldn't hold a candle to what ChefRobert at the Holiday Day Inn Express BDL, put on! The eggs were fresh, cooked to perfection, the bacon fresh, crisp perfect! In fact, everything was excellent and beyond expectations! Hats off to Robert, for an excellent culinary experience"

"Best that can be said is that it was clean. The shower was ok. No on-site staff, we had to check in using a Ring doorbell and bad phone connection. The baseboard heat control required me to get on the floor and crawl into the corner of the room behind the fridge. And the room didn’t look at all like the picture on Expedia. Stay here if you have no other choice."

"The grounds were nicely kept. The staff were polite and responsive. Check in was supposed to be at 3:00, we arrived at 3:30 and still had to wait for our room to be ready. We brought our dog with us. The pet friendly rooms were near the door and every time someone brought their dog out the door slammed shut, causing our door to shake. "friendly staff, nicely appointed room/suite. Easy parking, nice restaurant next door( not part of Inn). Breakfast Sunday morning depleted by 10 am . Management tried hurriedly to rectify situation. Common area nicely appointed with many seating arrangements and cappuccino machine, etc. Will stay there again."
