Truly the most beautiful beach we saw during our entire time on the island. This private island is absolutely gorgeous. The beach alone makes it worth the visit. The rooms could use some updating, and the food felt more like filler food than anything memorable. That said, the drinks kept coming and the beach was easily the best we experienced anywhere on the island. If you want to avoid crowds and simply enjoy a stunning beach in a peaceful setting, this resort is a great choice. Unfortunately, you will need to wait for them to rebuild. The resort actually burned to the ground the same day we checked out. Quite a shocking end to an otherwise beautiful stay.

Ok this is tough because this property was in the middle of construction to make it more updated so I don’t think it would be fair to rate them because those guys worked day and night to update the front area then. I do think this place is a hidden gem for anyone who wants a quiet getaway with a decent beach. We spent a lot of time on the beach and absolutely loved it. The room although outdated were always clean and bug free. Even if it was a far outdated property because it was literally one of the first ever built on that island, I would still stay here again. The food and drinks were t anything special but I was more interested in the beach and finding things to do on Roatan. We were pretty much the only English speaking people there for the whole week but we managed just fine. If you are picky and enjoy a decent beach this is the place to go. I give them two thumbs up for trying to accommodate people while they are updating because it can’t be easy to do. I’m glad I took a chance and booked this place even if it wasn’t the high end classy place like we are used to. It was perfect for our needs.

Beach area was beautiful!! Rooms were very run down and needed some serious updating. We were there during the fire and received little to no help. Very disappointed with management through the whole process. Went back after and the things that were left behind were taken and we were told by staff that all rooms were empty. They don't take good care of their customers.

The beach view was obstruced and the beach full of seaweed. The resort burnt down to the ground while we were there.

Resort is updating things- one step at a time. The area & activities to do around the resort put it a step above all others. Not overcrowded, availability to chairs/beach/ pool was fabulous!!

Not the greatest experience. No hot water in the rooms and they are quite dated. They have no dive instructor onsite, so my husband couldn’t complete his certification dives for his Open Water Course even though we were told when we booked that they could (they do have a dive master than can take certified divers diving). The food was just ok, it was often cold and not much selection. Do not forget to bring mosquito repellent, there are thousands of them and you will get eaten alive, especially in the lobby/bar area. We ended up having to move to a different hotel so my husband could do his diving, and the manager told us they would refund us for the remainder of our stay, but they have refused to pay now. Very disappointing overall experience.

Yes the bathroom toilet kept getting clogged . The water was cold . The room smells like meldew. The paint was chipped. The shower has no soap dish .it was one of the worse resort we stayed in. The only good thing was Ingrid and the rest of the staff . The food was always cold and not to mention it was the same food every day. The entire resort smelled of cat or meldew. The shop at the resort really didn't accommodate necessary items like cutips etc

This was a complete disappointment. I was so sad by the condition of the resort. The owner should close it to the public and get it in the condition it should be in. The road was horrible, the entrance smells strongly of sewage. The food was okay. So hard to get most of the staff to smile. I ended up woth 59 mosquito bites. The rooms were neglected. The bathroom fixtures were rusty. Just dont go.

The driveway getting up into the resort was horrific. I thought I was gonna sync my car. At check-in, no one could speak English.. The room was definitely not up apart way below average… and the food was way below average…. The only place I could get a Wi-Fi signal is in the reception area… however the beach was awesome. I guess that’s the silver lining…. The resort needs a. LOT OF WORK

Room was very tidy . Not Staff didn’t speak English as before , but didn’t impede having a good time . There was however a lack of warm water and no hot water for showers . My 4th or 5th visit over the years . Dive centre and staff amazing!

The room was in in of some tlc; wobbly toilet, mold on ceiling, door very hard to close, had to reactivate my door key 4 times in 2 weeks, etc Even the newly renovated bathrooms in the lobby had doors that did not close easily Staff seem to need more training on information to provide Food was generally ok, but what should be crispy was not because of the warming pans. Also usually too salty. “Salad” section was always the same: iceberg lettuce, shedded carrot, sliced tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers…and one mix of chopped onion, tomato and cucumber Cleaning was good, in room, public spaces and the beach Generally, I was expecting more for the price.
