There was one person in front of me and I was carrying luggage and wearing a portable oxygen concentrator. I am not sure if the gentleman in front of me required extra assistance that delayed his check-in, but I did notice there was a lot of conversation going on with the desk clerk.
I hate to ever bring this up, and I don’t even use a disabled parking spot 95% of the time because many people are far worse off than I. But I was not feeling so hot and I do believe the check-in process for the gentlemen in front of me could’ve been handled more expeditiously. Or as a last resort, perhaps I could have been asked to go first if there was a problem with the first fellow's reservation, or if they intended to have a nice chitchat.
While I'm whining, my room was a good 10 minute walk from the elevator (although the clerk warned me it was not close).
Finally, be advised there is no valet parking, so be prepared for a hike in from the garage as well.
