"Excellent welcome. We arrived at the gate and we're greeted in a very friendly professional manner. We were welcomed into the lovely courtyard with a smile and guided professionally through the check in process. Our french is not very good and their english was excellent so it made us feel at ease. We were shown around the property and guided to our accommodation plus very helpfully booked in for a session in the Spa in the cave which is wonderful. We were also provided with much helpful...

"What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. Would highly recommend as a pit stop if driving from UK to Spain."

"Charming host lady with charisma, sweet stories, and attention to detail. It is obvious she enjoys having visitors and treating them as family. The house is also a pleasure to wonder around with old antique furniture. Finally the rooms rented are renovated and spacious. So you have the charm of an old mansion with the comfort of today's amenities!"

"Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."
