Excellent location for getting into town. Quiet street. Clean, comfortable room. If using a hire car, factor in the extra cost of paying for a daily parking pass to park in the nearby streets through Easypark App. Pretty straightforward. You will need WiFi signal to operate the doors - external and you room doors which is tricky if you don’t have mobile roaming, but you get used to it! Alf the proprietor was very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Great location from airport and explore around the coast area. Great parking in ground floor, clean room, good food and staff were all very good and helpful.

Amazing hotel with cabins, in a stunning location. Can't beat the view! Lovely family run hotel and very welcoming to us and our 2 dogs. We liked it so much, we stayed an extra night. Would thoroughly recommend it for anyone visiting by car or boat! Much nicer than staying in the city. They even showed the England football game in the bar. Nice food too.

Hotel is about a 10 minutes flat walk from the airport. (Skandic hotel is nearer but often more expensive ). Check in was fast and friendly. Rubbish WiFi in 1st room but they swiftly moved me to a different room with great WiFi. Room was clean modern and comfortable.

Really good location and good communication with the host. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Even with the sofa bed open, there was plenty of space to move around. Check-in and check-out were smooth as it all works with a code, so no need to deal with keys. The only thing is that the staircase smelled a lot like pizza from Dominos, which is right below the apartment.

We had a nice stay at Hovdestøylen. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The bedrooms are quite small, but the beds were comfortable. It is worth mentioning that two of the bedrooms have no windows, so if you are claustrophobic probably not a good idea. On the plus side the apartment had a drying cabinet, which was very useful for quickly getting dry clothes ready for next days skiing.

The Staff were excellent ,In the dining the sever (Elena) was fantastic , The Cook/chef was also fantastic (Nicola) very nice and well cooked food.

We booked a family room which turned out to be an excellent arrangement. A large separate bedroom with double bed for us and a sofa bed for the kids in the lounge area. The lounge area included a small kitchen to make our own snacks (useful, as eating out can be pricy in Norway). The hotel lobby was very well laid out, comfortable and had a welcoming atmosphere. All of the staff were more than wiling to help and arranged for the museum on site to be opened specially for us. Food was excellent...

Wonderful if no cruise ships in harbour. Everything is nearby including lots of interest.
