The staff was friendly and kind. Breakfast went until 10:30 and I appreciated that! There was hair in the shower and bed, cob webs in corners, and the bed was uncomfortable. The sheets and towels were so dingy I wondered if they were clean. At 2:30am I went down to get my pillow out of the car because theirs were flat. The location is what makes this place special. I was thankful to be out of the severe weather for the night but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Small city motel is well cared for. Bed was comfortable and clean. Whole room was clean. The only issue was outside on the balcony there were hundreds of spider webs that should be knocked down and cleaned. Was not attractive and we refused to sit outside. ( We stayed 2 more nights in another room--same bacony situation as both balconies were spider web world. I would imagine where there are webs that there are spiders hiding. Pool was refreshing and hot tub was hot as it should be. Wish pool was a tad warmer but this is not a complaint. The pool room locker room bathrooms were clean and one of the best pool areas we've had while lodging.

It's an older facility, but quiet, private. Walking/bike trail connects to the beach and many parks. Nice view of the lake through the treetops. The pool and spa were fantastic. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Nice get away.

Breakfast was just basics like cereal, bagels, & pastries. It was within walking distance from the lake and the views were just beautiful. There’s only one person working the desk for the entire property so she seemed a little overwhelmed but still friendly. The rooms were comfortable, but those walls are paper thin. Our neighbor’s tv was on all night long and you could hear every bit of it but somehow still managed to sleep through it. Overall it was a good last minute stay for us!
