Functional but very comfortable hotel just outside Strasbourg city centre - easy to reach the centre by tram (10 mins) or 25 minute walk. Worked perfectly for our last night in Alsace

Home from home. Beds extremely comfortable and very clean hotel. Despite the room facing the train tracks, the soundproof was good so would definitely come again!

This hotel is stunning! We really enjoyed our stay albeit too short as we were only overnighting. The room was clean in bright colours with a view over the valley. The swimming pool and sun deck were ideal to enjoy the sunshine. Will definitely be back for a longer stay next time.

Excellent for a business trip.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the centre of town and about 15 minutes from Petite France....perfect location! A beautiful, historic building mixes with modern comfort inside with silent air conditioning, comfortable beds and spotless bathroom. The complimentary dressing gowns and slippers were a bonus, especially as we had only booked the basic room. All the staff were superb, a 24 hour reception team, speaking excellent English. They were always happy to help with directions, travel...

The Regent Contades hotel is pleasantly placed along side the river and surrounded by beautiful buildings and tree lined avenues. Only a 10 minute steady walk to the cathedral in the centre of the city and all its architecture, cafes, restaurants and shops. The hotel is bijou in comparison to modern hotels but grand on ambience and stature with many original features. A gorgeous hotel in an excellent location. There was nothing to fault with Le Bouclier D'or. Our deluxe room at the top of the hotel was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in with plenty of space, everything we needed and being very comfortable. There was a good selection at breakfast and all members of staff were friendly and helpful. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel.
