The young man that checked me in was very polite. The room was very nice with a comfy leather recliner. My only complaint would be that the room smelled like perfume. Very strong perfume. Like someone dumped a bottle somewhere. I’m guessing that it was from a previous guest ???

Beachfront Hotel
Walkout patio was nice. Snow so didn’t stick around outside but enjoyed the lake views. Room clean and quiet. Hot tub and pool nice. Staff awesome!

American Inn and Suites Houghton Lake
Quick overnight stay. Friendly staff. The desk manager had kindly turned the room heat on an hour before check in, on a 14 degree day. Clean room, comfortable bed. Recommend.

Even though there was no pool and hottub whicj i perfer the room that i had was a one bedroom with a sofa bed. It was also a check in and out kinda deal. Made me a little nervous but it worked out ok. I had to wait for i got there early. The area because it was next to a 711 store was sketchy so ...
