"Port Townsend is an old charming town and everything in it is old so set your expectations accordingly. This is a motel. I stayed for 1 week for an event at Centrum and this motel had almost everything I needed. A small fridge, coffee maker, wi-fi, microwave, comfortable bed, quiet (even though it's near the main road into town), nice hot shower, great parking and a 5-minute drive to Fort Worden. The food coop is right next door. The beach practically across the street and it's walking distance to the main town area. I read complaints about the thin towels so took my own and I recommend you do the same. Also bring your own shampoo. They provide tiny packets of shampoo containing about 1/2 teaspoon each of product that are near impossible to open while you are showering. I opened 3 and it still didn't cover my hair. I thought the nightly rate was pricey for a motel, but it was competitive as there aren't a lot of choices. The staff was very nice."

"We stayed in room 8-A. The room was a good size with a small fridge and microwave. The room was clean and the view was decent. It does get pretty warm in there so we had the window open and both fans going and then also the French doors to get as much of a cool breeze we can. Check in and check out staff were great. You will need a parking pass which o wasn’t given one at check in but called and made sure and one of the gals brought one to our room. The bed was a bit squeaky and bouncy when just rolling over in bed but wasn’t bad. We didn’t use the tv so can’t give info on channels or anything. My phone seemed to work better with just using my data bs their WiFi. I would stay here again."

"Overall it was a nice place to stay with helpful staff. Though the worker was new, she didn’t have anyone training her in, and still did a nice job. The exterior of the property is pretty old and in need of updating, but the house is super charming in that Victorian style. Our bed was comfy—bathroom was extremely small. I had to look under a chair for a dropped item and I could see it needs to be cleaned, and then I noticed more spots that need deep cleaning. The breakfasts were really good! They served the food and then didn’t come back to see that the food stayed stocked or warm, and the toaster didn’t work but everything we ate was tasty and set us up for the day well. I would recommend this property to travelers who are ok putting up with a few quirks!"

"This is a self-help apartment. It was very expensive. We were afforded no early check in, even though we far in advance notified them that we had a complicated situation. As a result, because we were at an event, could only check in late. Check out is at 10AM, which is an obnoxious, creeping habit of hotels and air b and b's. It does not take six hours to clean a unit. Also, the stay requires a download of an app, but we did not receive check in information (just an email with a broken link) so had to spend time with tech support to get access. Given the price, which was in excess of $500, we expected nice amenities. There was a Keurig with paper cups and instead of drinking glasses there were plastic cups in plastic bags, like you would get at a cheap motel. There were plastic utensils piled in a drawer down the hall. No bottled water or collective filtered water. The unit was nice and decorated in a quirky and cool way, and the space was comfortable- or would have been had we been able to enjoy it. Our night was the same night as a big event in town, so we may have been victims of an algorithm, but the value just was not there. If you can get a better price and don't mind checking in late and leaving early, it is well located (a bit noisy) right off the main drag, and convenient to everything. Parking is at your own risk, as the parking is posted at 2 hours, but the hotel says it is not enforced. We did not get a ticket, so it held true for us."
