"The Norfolk Hotel is a brilliant option for accommodation in the heart of Fremantle. As a solo, female traveler in town at short notice for a funeral, the convenience, simplicity, affordability and good vibes of the establishment smoothed my trip. Staff are friendly and attentive, with the manager carrying my bag to the room (there is a flight of stairs which may trouble some). "Stairs too steep for someone injured. We only stayed one night as there’s no way I could have been able to get to our room post operative. The shower was slippery and I was scared I was going to slip. No facilities in the room. No top sheet on the bed and doona was put on bottom at the top. Bedside lamp hadn’t been plugged in and with my injury I couldn’t plug it in. We stayed only on night out of the four I paid for. Very disappointed. "No Signage. Hard to find your way in. And then no signs to find you way to reception. No warning that the breakfast costs more if you don’t pre order. I booked two rooms and one had a pretty ordinary view."
