"It was a decent city hotel, it didn’t feel 5* at international standards but it was a good for one night and close to all the city activities."

"The place was clean, staff were very helpful, great location"

"Excellent hotel and in a very good location. Great views over the lake!"

"We are a family of 6 stayed in 2 rooms in The Radh Hotel in Kandy in July 2026. This is an immaculate property, close to most important attractions of Kandy, Sri Lanka. Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The place is safe. Staffs are extremely courteous, professional, attentive and helpful. Every aspect of our stay including checking in, hotel lobby, breakfast buffet and room size and amenities are absolutely wonderful. We will definitely stay here in our next visit to Kandy."

"My room was spacious clean and modern. It was very safe and quiet. Breakfast was provided and was excellent. It is located 15 minute walk up steep road from city centre. Easy walking down and cheap uber tuk tuk ride back up the hill after leaving city center. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Kandy."

"The room was clean and comfortable but the only let down was the AC unit didn't work but there had been a power outage during our stay so not sure if related or not. Staff very friendly and welcoming and attentive, would stay here again."

"Great rooms and food. A great place to stay in Kandy"

"A gem of a place - everything was delightful, from the room, to the lovely infinity pool, the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help, and the excellent food. We loved staying here. "

"Good clean property with decent air con, and very helpful staff. Great location in Kandy close to main attractions. Quality of hotel quite basic but good given the budget price, didn’t have any food so can’t comment on this. Would go back again especially if wanting a more budget option in Kandy. "

"Excellent location, attentive staff, clean rooms and a good restaurant on site"

"beautifully restored historic house near train and bus station and easy reach of attractions"

"This hotel was absolutely fantastic. Great Staff soooo suportive they helped me carrying all my stuff. Great Breakfast (omelettes with fresh and delicious fruit, milk tea, and water), great room big, cool enough, great bathroom, and the best of all is pretty close to tooth temple and the big budha. This place is a MUST."

"Perfect for our one night stay , close to the lake & a very short walk to the temple of the tooth . Spacious room with everything we needed & lovely staff"

"Great place to stay in Kandy! Rooms are clean, comfortable, and shower is great. Staff are true professionals and definitely want you to have a great stay. Hotel is perched atop hill just outside of town. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby and the town is a nice 20 stroll down the hill. Staff hooked us up with a great driver for day trip to Sigiriya. Great place to stay!"

"A heritage property with charm. Lovely gardens, infinity pool and common areas. Staff are friendly and do all to help. The location is elevated and a quick tuk into town or walk. As travelling solo I booked a double room and not on the larger. Whilst they are clean and comfortable with all you need I would suggest book a larger room if you can as there was no natural light in the rooms as there were shutters that were covered. It was ok as I sat in common areas to read etc. Just a heads up....
