It is well situated between the town with shops, restaurants and market (10 min walk) and Pontaillac with it's beach front casino, shops and restaurants (15-20 min walk). Great place to stay, good value for the money! A note that it was very quiet in Royan and considered out of season ( our whitsun week off school) therefore it was hard to get a meal later than 7 and their was practically nobody around! The hotel was good for what we needed it for so that was our main priority

Excellent upmarket accommodation in tranquil surroundings. Natalie very welcoming and the breakfast was very tasty. It’s a drive or cycle into town. Would be nice to have a bar for the evenings or a mini bar in the room.

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has lots of lovely plants and trees around that give a great atmosphere. The room was very spacious and my daughter loved the two levels.

We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'hôtes La Tillaie and would not hesitate to recommend it.
The property has been beautifully renovated, combining character and charm with every modern comfort. Our room was exceptionally clean, spacious and beautifully appointed, with a large, very comfortable bed.
