"The hotel itself is fantastic. Room is spacious and clean, staff is nice and helpful, breakfast is amazing. Location is also very good, just a short walk to center of town. Overall we loved the hotel. The only downside, and frankly this is not something the hotel can do, is that there can be loud thumping music (we were in town during low season) or barking dogs at night around the area where the hotel is. "Highly recommend staying at Casa Sofi for your trip to Oaxaca. Excellent host that greeted us with the best tasting Mezcal. The room is very comfortable and the property is centrally located to everything. The grounds itself is very clean and safe. There is a communal kitchen that has everything to prepare a meal or store your leftovers in the refrigerator. Can’t wait to go back. "
