The hotel location in very convenient, near the NY state line and Lake George on one side, and Killington and Pico ski resorts and the town of Woodstock in VT a short drive away with great views. Shopping and dining options all around the hotel, even at walking distance. Great option located in the town of Rutland, VT. Rooms were very clean and they have decent breakfast as well.

Breakfast was good. The pool area looked really nice. My kids would have loved it definitely a not so great area though. I recommend the double queen room over the single king. MUCH nicer even if you don’t need the extra space.

building was two seperate buildings. rooms had been updated but building had creaky floors. ok for a night but would not recommend for long stays' breakfast was actually decent, better than many bargain hotels offer these days.

This was a good hotel for us as it was close to family. However, it needs some updating. The Elevator broke while we were there, so my 92 yo mother had to walk down a flight of stairs while I carried her walker. The bathroom was small, tight. They have unsecured Wi-Fi. They need better lighting in the back parking lot. Otherwise, it appeared to be clean. The beds were a little high but fairly comfortable.

Room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Refrigerator was nice size and worked well. Location to Hwy 7 and 4 was convenient. Carpet in the room had a noticeable stain. Roller foot on the only chair kept coming off. A cockroach prowled the bathroom. Carpeting in the halls and foyer were old and worn in places.

The Comfort Inn in Rutland is an excellent place to stay. The room was quite clean and the breakfast offered quite a few choices ranging from eggs and sausage to the usual cereal and oatmeal. It is also worth noting that the staff of this property are quite friendly. Yes, I would stay here again.

For a one night stay is was just what we wanted...a clean room and comfortable bed. after check in I discovered I had forgotten my toothbrush. I ask the front desk person if he had one to purchase. He gave me a throw-away tooth brush which was a perfect solution for the night. We also need extra towels, which were provided with no problems. Thanks to him.

Eggs were processed even the hard boiled ones seemed fake. Potatoes were good. Non smoking room had residual smell after the cleaning products wore off. Between the headache and sore throat then the slamming exit door (no soft close)next to our room made for a sleepless night. Definitely not a $200 experience. It was clean and nicely decorated, I just wish my sleep was better.
