"Very much as pictured and described. Nothing fancy, but you get what you pay for. Easy access into the walled city, bus stops, and grocery store. We didn't go to Avignon to sit in the hotel so this suited my family of 4 just fine."

"The hotel is split between a new building and an old building built in 1589. We were in the old building. Our room was quite large, especially by European standards with very high cieling typical of old buildings. We had a modern w/c and bathroom, and lots of racks and shelves for cloths. The room was spotlessly clean, but the paintwork on the windows (origial to 1589?) and the closet doors needed a refresh. Breakfast for 18 Euros was excellent. There is a pool with a sizable deck on the roof of the hotel, but it was closed for the season in late October. The hotel is well located just inside the city walls, a short walk from the railway station(not the TGV station), and about a 15 minute walk to the Papal Palace. There are lots of restaurants nearby."

"The hotel is perfectly located in Avignon to explore the city on foot. The property has a lot of old world charm. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room was very quiet which was a big bonus for us. The staff were nice and welcoming. Would stay there again."

"Perfect for our family break, reasonable price, covered all our needs. Checked in late, staff provided very good instructions in how to get into the carpark and get our keys. Very secure, gated grounds and good locked on doors. All rooms are accessed through outdoor pathways and appartment was very secure."

"The rooms were spacious but we had to change rooms because of a problem with the shower. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Auriele at reception. Free parking was nice."
