"Very spacious and great for family. Only downside was the smell, not sure if it was from someone smoking or mildew. Air conditioning was noisy. Otherwise really cute."

"I absolutely loved the look inside and out of this hotel. Had a nice charm to it. The way the rooms are layed out across the floor means you have one room across from you and not long hallways where noise can travel. You can actually open the windows in the rooms a decent amount. 2nd and 42nd is considerably quieter then grand central or anything near times square/fifth Avenue midtown or penn station, but still very walkable to those locations. Cannot recommend enough "

"The bathroom was particularly spacious and it was nice to have larger bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash installed in the shower as well as wash cloths to use. The bed was comfortable, the bed linens were soft and the carpet was immaculate. I also received good suggestions from the staff about places to go in the neighborhood. I’d definitely stay again."

"Seamless check-in process thanks to Elias! Thanks to availability, I was upgraded to a higher floor, and my room was spotless upon arrival. The location is very convenient and lots of coffee/food options. I actually brought back take-out to eat at the open air rooftop, where there was plenty of space both outside on the patio and inside the lounge space. Free water, coffee, and tea up there was very nice. My favorite details was the free water bottle fill station on each floor by the elevators!...

"This hotel is well centers in Midtown Manhattan. Walkable to Central Station, Central Park, 5th Ave, Madison Avenue, Times Square and the broadway shows. The staff is extremely friendly. I will definitely be staying here on my trips to NYC."
