"This is NOT a hotel! The front desk explained that it is a condo rental. That means you do not get any cleaning, even with a8 night stay. And you get 1 bath towel, nothing else. No replacement towels, and no hand towel or washcloths. And you get 1 roll of toilet paper, then you have to buy it yourself. Having said that, the front desk staff was very helpful, when they were present. And it is only 1 block to the beach. If you have a larger rental car, beware of the enclosed parking spaces...

"great campsite, lovely pool (got busy at weekends, out of season). The kids park was amazing, everything so clean and new. The food on site was lovely. Caravan was good size. "

Beware of parking costs.

"Good. Major drawback was unexpected cost of parking ( 10 euros per day ). Hotels.com should have forewarned us ( ie next to the « self parking « tick on advert. Also no fridge. But room just about big enough’. Bed comfortable."

Hôtel SABLES D'O et son restaurant "LE 16 BIS"

"Great location for Vendee Globe activities. Parked the car when I got there and did not use it again until I left. Room was good, what I thought I would get. Only minor issues were that there didn’t seem to be much ventilation other than the window, so a shower made it extremely humid in the room, and it was hard to shower without putting a lot of water on the bathroom floor."

It’s a condo!

Having said that, the front desk staff was very helpful, when they were present. And it is only 1 block to the beach. If you have a larger rental car, beware of the enclosed parking spaces l. They are tiny. And we had no idea that we needed a parking reservation, but you do. And you are expected to clean up when you leave, taking sheets off the beds, and taking the trash to the disposals outside. We don’t require a lot, and everything was functional and clean. I would stay there again. I was just expecting something different. "
