"Great location. Across the street from the State Capital building close to everything in the heart of downtown. As with everything in a downtown area, parking is limited to a spot you can find on the street otherwise it’s valet ($33) for ya. Room was great. Modern updates and stylish. Cool bar downstairs and the rooftop bar on the 12th floor offers amazing views of all of Columbia. Bring your wallet though…I had an Old Fashioned with Basil Hayden and then a double Buffalo Trace on the rocks…$66. 2 drinks essentially $33 each. Insanity. Check in staff was ok. Seemed more interested in conversing with each other more so than me standing in front of them. Got the job done though, got my key and finally able to get to my room. I would stay again."
