Downside was having to use WhatsApp as a key to get into the building and the room. Clever but as traveling we didn't have WiFi or mobile data and so was forced to use our mobiles abroad and at a cost. Would have preferred a key. Convenient to drive east to visit chateaux (Chambord, Cenonceau, Amboise and others). Easy bus 18 ride from Fougerolles stop near Leclerc to visit Tours for a day."

"Stayed here for 3 nights. Hôtel was in a great spot for restaurants and shopping Just so happened we were there on the first Sunday in September. There is a huge market on that Sunday. We left early to do another tour and came back around 4pm. The market was still going. Great restaurants in the area. You could have any type of food you desired. Staff were excellent."

We would recommend the restaurant which has excellent food with a selection of starters, mains and sweets and with a specials board too. And, of course, a wide selection of beverages including local wine. The rooms are clean, comfy and functional but basic, ideal for a stop over. We come here many times on our journey through."
