A 'proper' French residence with plenty of creative decorative flair that can only be found in this country. Manu, one of the hosts was a man of few words but the 'words' weren't his as it was in English but still good comms throughout my short stay.

Centrally located with lots of rooms, many with bunk beds, the hotel has the feel of a well appointed youth hostel with kitchen and recreation rooms which can be used as sitting rooms and for eating / drinking your own supplies. Stock up from local beer / wine shop! The rooms are quite basic, but very adequate for what you need. Use the facilities down stairs as a sitting room rather than stay in the room. Not your usual stop over hotel, this seems to be a wedding venue that also lets rooms when they can. The house and grounds are amazing and a real privilege to visit. Friendly staff. Couldn’t get the EV charging to work, seemed to be an older Tesla charger.
