"For the price and fun location this hotel is 5 stars. It has a great history and has that authentic feel for an older hotel. We stayed for two nights. The Front Desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They offer free water at the front desk. They gave us some information about the area. We requested a late checkout and they gave us a good deal on the extra three hours. Rooms are spacious enough and the bathroom is very spacious as well. My only two suggestion is updating the shower, which is a tub and an actual shower curtain, which was a little weird. The carpet needs to be replaced desperately though. All in all a terrific day and Five star stars."

"The best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The hotel was laid out nicely. The staff was warm and welcoming every time I saw them. The room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant served a wonderful breakfast. They offer early check in and late check out if they have the availability as long as you are a rewards member - being a member is free!"

"Loved the location of the property and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and had a ceiling fan in addition to ac that was a nice touch. My only disappointment was that we were placed in the Lafayette section on the exterior wall of the hotel and there was a bar or nightclub that starts jamming around 12am. People park their cars, blare their music, and congregate right outside our windows talking and shouting at each other. This went on for several hours. Was disappointing for me as I am a light sleeper and asked for a quiet room. There is a parking conveniently across from the hotel which is nice. Parking fee averages at about $62 a day."
