We had a fantastic stay at La Maison du Paradis. Pasquale and his wife were excellent hosts. Pasquale met us at the apartment even though we were late and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. He checked in on us several times, gave us info about the buses and ferries, dining recommendations, maps, etc. He even arranged a cab back to the train station for us. The listing pictures are accurate and the apartment is in a very nice, old building with an elevator. It has a great exposure and we got lots of natural and afternoon light through large windows. We stayed in October and used the bedroom A/C at night; Each room has one and in the summer I think they’d keep the apartment plenty cool. The apartment is close to lots of great restaurants and gelaterias, shopping, both ferry ports (and therefore the water) and the train station. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator with water, fruit, yogurt, and milk, a Nespresso type coffee maker and coffee pods. There even was a bowl of local oranges for the juicer. The bed is super comfortable. The bathroom has a good shower with doors that close and storage. All in all we had a great stay. So if you’re thinking of staying in Salerno, stay at La Maison du Paradise and have Pasquale and his wife be your host.

What a beautiful apartment and extremely kind host

Our experience with Pasquale and his beautiful apartment was exceptional. It was in a beautiful building in a perfect location very safe and clean. The apartment was very spacious and Pasquale left us a beautiful full breakfast for the morning. We will definitely be coming back.

Let me start by saying how hospitable, knowledgeable and kind Pasquale is. He greeted us out in front of our B & B and spent quality time showing us our room and t alked about the surrounding area. Salerno is the perfect place to stay and visit all the hot spots (Amalfi, Positano and Capri are just a gorgeous ferry ride away from the port of Salerno. Stay at the B&B Masion du Paradis and you wont be disappointed. Thank you Pasquale for your kindness..until next time. Ciao!!

The owner went of their way to help. The fridge was stacked with great breakfast food. The apartment had plenty of room. The only downside was the street noise which was very loud.

What an excellent choice La Maison du Paradis proved to be during my first trip to Italy this September. I was greeted by the lovely Pasquale my host, who was already waiting for me on my arrival. Very reassuring. A little history made a nice introduction. The apartment is set in a delightful building with its own story. Accessed by lift is very helpful. Nicely decorated and considerately furnished with the traveller in mind. The fridge is generously stocked with supplies for breakfast and hydration. Pasquale & Giusy provide excellent hospitality front of house and behind the scenes and non-intrusive communication to ensure everything runs very smoothly. I felt very priveleged to have stayed here and it will be my first choice when I return to this area on a future ocassion. Grateful thanks. Sharon

The owner of this property was very helpful and communicated with me before my arrival, during and after to be sure we made it to our next destination. Vietimme reilun viikon tässä ihanassa asunnossa, josta emme olisi halunneet lähteä pois. Asunto oli upea ja rauhallinen. Sijainti erinomainen meren ja vanhan kaupungin kupeessa. Isäntäpari neuvoi kaikessa ja vastasi whatsupilla aina välittömästi. He kävivät myös välillä siivoamassa asunnon ja tuomassa lisää aamiaistarvikkeita. Uskomattoman hyvää palvelua!

A great stay in Salerno

Location Location is everything. This spot was central to all. Train station, fashion district, resturant row, a promenade, marina and somewhere there was a beach .... Full one bedroom apartment w/ 1 1/2 bathrooms - sound proof windows queen size bed. lovely kitchen with everything you need including a juicer. Came stocked with fresh oranges, water, milk and pastries. Walk out balconies at every window. Train Station 20 minute walk from the station Pasquale the owner & host could not have been more helpful and accommodating. -He greeted us on arrival show us to the room and detailed Salernos many attractions. Would stay again. Recommend 10/10

We were thrilled by the great hospitality and super care given by Pasquale owner of the property as we found him waiting for us upon arrival in front of the building. The apartment and the location is extra ordinary.few minutes to the beach and very central.The apartment has a view of the sea and the historic building has 2 doors the back door opens to the old historic city. Pasquale made everything in his capacity to make us happy offering fresh orange juice water yogurt cookies and even booking a taxi for us. Never stayed in such a beautiful and neat apartment like this before. We will definitely go again and make it a hub to visit all Amalfi attractions. Thank you Pasquale for all what you did to us.

We were very happy and had an amazing time in Guisy's and Pasquale's Maison du Paradis and can only recommend to stay there if you plan a trip to the Amalfi Coast. Staying in Salerno in general is perfect as a starting point for day trips to the different places along the coast as well as Capri. In Salerno you also have a nice promenade for walks in the evening as well as very good restaurants and a beautiful old city center. The apartment itself has a perfect size for 2 people, is very clean and in addition perfectly located and just walking distance to everything you need including the harbour as well as bus stops which both works very well for day trips along the coast. Guisy und Pasquale are perfect hosts and supported us before and during our stay with helpful information and tips. We would definitely come back :-)

Great Place to Stay

My husband and I stayed at La Maison du Paradis during our visit to Salerno and it was wonderful. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The location of this B and B was perfect. It was central and it was an easy walk to the the ferry terminals for the Amalfi coast. The B and B was perfect for us. It offered a great kitchen, separate bedroom, luggage room, among other conveniences. We would give La Maison du Paradis an 11/10, and would absolutely stay there again.

Pasquale and Guisy provide a comfortable, well furnished apartment. The kitchen was well stocked for our arrival. The bed was comfortable. The apartment is well located 20 minutes from both the train station and ferry port. Pasquale and Guisy are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Information on the area including restaurants, ferry schedules and sites to see are ready and waiting for you. This is a beautiful place to base for the Amalfi Coast, Paestum, and Pompeii. Highly recommend. We cant wait to return!

The Best of Salerno

Out of all our 15 days in Italy, our stay in Salerno was outstanding, largely due to Pasquale and Giusy's hospitality. The rooms were spotless, AC cold, oranges fresh, and the location was unparalleled. Everything is within a 5 minute walk. There's no other place we will stay in Salerno!

I stayed at the B&B La Maison du Paradis for a total of 5 nights over the span of 2 weeks. Pascalie, the owner, is amazing. He provides any and all information you might need and is always available if needed. The apartment is located in a historic building in the old part of Salerno. Unlike many B&Bs in the area, there is easy car access so you don't have to drag your luggage for blocks. Also, the location for visiting the Old Town is excellent. 5 minute walk to the heart. The main pedestrianized street is a block away. The waterfront promenade is 3 blocks. The building is quiet and the window shutters are great to block out the street lights during the night. Breakfast is offered but it limited to some yogurt, packaged breads and cereal. A large market is 10 minutes away. This is definitely a place I will stay at during my next visit to Salerno.

An absolute MUST STAY !!!

A truly amazing place. The greeting and hospitality was excellent during our stay. Home grown oranges for orange juice in the morning, homemade apricot tart for breakfast and a stocked fridge. Pasquale, the host was beyond helpful with advice on local places to visit, eat and enjoy. Take his advise on restaurants ! you wont regret it ! He really is one of the best people on the planet ! Apartment is safe, comfortable and offers all you need. The location is perfect, close to everything in Salerno and easily accessible to do day trips. Really cant speak highly enough about our stay here.

What an incredible host Paaquale and Guisy are!!! I give 10 out of 5. Yes more! We were met at the train so we could hand luggage over and head straight to ferry to enjoy a day in Positano. When we got to the apartment there was an awesome fruit pie, water, coffee, milk, fruits and pastries. We had absolutely everything to make our stay more than comfortable. Beautiful apartment with excellent location - ferries, restaurants, busses, train all within walking distance. Highly recommend you book

Appartamento molto bello, grande e funzionale situato al centro della città di Salerno. Vista dal balcone mozzafiato, vicino a tutti i punti di interesse della città nonché a due passi dal lungomare. Excellent accommodation and perfect location to all sites in Salerno and easy access to Amalfi Coast by ferry. Proprietor went above and beyond to keep in touch with us prior to reservation and met us at apartment when we arrived. Spent the time to make sure we were all set and had no question on apt. My review is simple rent this B&B/apartment! The apartment is spotless, the location is perfect, Pasquale couldn’t be a better host. Out the front door you have access to Via Roma and their countless restaurants and the beach which is 1 small block away. Out the back door you have direct access to the Old City. I travelled alone, not knowing the Italian language and Pasquale was always available to assist! Salerno was my favorite stop on my two week vacation around Italy and it was because of Pasquale’s apartment! I will be returning here in the future for s longer stay.

Amazing apartment in a great location.

The apartment is perfect for two people and is in an amazing part of Salerno. On one side you have the beach and on the other you have Old Salerno. Pasquale was a great host and baked us the most tastiest peach pie. Would definately recommend staying here!
