Location of property was great. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room and building, inside and out were not clean. The shower pressure was awesome. We went to look at the hot tub and opted out because the plaster is worn away and trash all over the pool deck. Breakfast is included but again we opted out. The waffle iron was so old and rusted. The staff was nice and when we asked for extra pillows, they were limited and reluctant to give us anymore. I won’t stay again

The staff was extremely friendly some of the best but our room was gross. Broken electrical covers, cords ran everywhere, there was a hair on the bathroom floor and some kind of goop in the sink. Staff was great, Room was not so great.

It was just what I needed. Good nights sleep. A bath, and shower was refreshing. Comfortable and clean. Not fancy, but that was fine. Everything I needed. Night staff was friendly :) Morning continental breakfast was very sparse. Thank You :)

The staff were all nice, the room was not, I had to go to Walmart and buy air freshener, the room smelled that bad! Cigarette burns everywhere even on the bed spread, the coffee pot had a 1/4” of fur growing in the bottom of it. I paid for the room in advance and was still required to give them a $100.00 deposit when I checked in. I thought being on the south end of Salt Lake it wouldn’t be too bad. It was pretty bad!

I actually used the property twice in the same trip. That’s how much I liked it. Nice breakfast buffet. Impressive shopping and movie opportunities in nearby Sandy. Close enough to the airport. Good jump of site for visiting National Parks.

The room carpet was pretty stained and worn, so were the hallway carpets. The room and bathroom had noticeable dirt in the corners. The bedspread was stained in several areas. The bed was ok, not the greatest but certainly better than other places I’ve stayed. The breakfast was very limited in what they provided. I don’t think I’ve stayed anywhere that offered so little that advertised they had a breakfast. They just had white bread, waffles, yogurt, cereal, coffee and juice. The staff was nice. I didn’t use the pool and hot tub but they looked good and I didn’t use see people use them. The area seems kind of sketchy but it was quiet for the most part. One night someone had left their dogs alone in their room and their barking until about 11:30 pm was a bit annoying. Internet worked very well. I was traveling solo but if my wife had been with me she’d probably not be willing to stay here. The price was good but there’s many other places to stay in the area that offer cleaner rooms with much better breakfasts and more updated interior.

After our terrible experience in Reno, the Super 8 was such a wonderful respite. The woman at the front desk was sooo wonderful. She deserves a few raises! She was kind, helpful and so friendly. The property is older but everything was clean, functional and easy to access. The laundry was great! The pool and hot tub were clean and working properly. Definitely get more than we paid for and if we come back to SLC, we will only stay there. Thank you Super8!
