"Pros: Room was clean. The bed was very large and comfortable. Lovely view over the lake. Great leisure centre (gym, pool, jacuzzi and steam room) amenities included with the room Cons: -The bath/shower was in need of some repair and updating. -No main overhead lighting made for a dim room which was difficult to get ready in. There were 4 small low light mood lamps for light but no big light."

"Although we had a car rental, we appreciated being able to use public transportation. There are buses regularly available in front of the hotel for easy access to the center of Galway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed. We appreciated the coffee machine in our room which was replenished daily. Instructions for how to use the coffee machine were provided. Daily room service was provided without having to ask for it. We were unable to figure out how to use the TV. Instructions would have been helpful, but we had so much planned, that we never asked for help with it. Morning news would have been welcomed. Overall, we were very pleased with having chosen the Flannery Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Galway."
