We loved the beauty. The staff and food were incredible. Great location (although hard to find in the dark since the highway had construction). This place is wonderful
Clean rooms, perfect host. Dominic welcomed us warmly and cooked for us in the evening. We had good conversations and felt very comfortable. If it weren't so far, we would come back. The environment is a dream. We were able to get good insights. We were able to learn a lot about the Mayas. We looked directly at the Maya ruins from the accommodation. The farm is even better in reality than in the photos on the Internet.
A hidden, unique location complete with knowledgeable, personable, engaging host. Hot breakfast with local ingredients, meaningful conversations, cozy commons area. Arrived during a hot spell, but fans made it bearable. all in all a recommended base to explore western belize!
Beautiful place and we loved our stay here. The owner, Dom, was incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgable. You will love staying at Nabitunich if you are looking for something a little off the beaten path. This is bed and breakfast on a generationally owned family farm - dinner is also served in the evenings. We rented a car when we stayed here but other people staying at the same time did not and were able to get cabs (or hike!) into San Jose Succotz and the surrounding area.
Very cool setting. Nice and quite just like we like it. Walked down through the pastures and some jungle trails to the river. Breakfasts and dinners were awesome. Great deal to purchase dinners. Dominic is a great cook and excellent host. We really enjoyed our time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a base camp for exploring the area.
Once you got to the site, Nabitunich is a perfect setting and place to spend time. The long road getting in is very rough. The communal area is great for meeting other guests. Dominic is the perfect host. Very attentive to your needs. The food on the site is good.
a rustic living style that is comfortable and in the heart of nature. dominic is one of the best hosts i have ever met and i'd definitely stay here again if i was ever back in san ignacio
Had the most pleasant stay! Scenic views, mystic ambience of the Mayan pyramids in the distance, peace and tranquility all around. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. Dominic is an awesome host who is very attractive and considerate. Highly recommend
Dominic is a very conscientious host. He was very helpful with giving us local insight of where to visit. It is located in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We liked that breakfast and dinner were provided on-sight. This saved us a lot of time. The only dislike is that there was no A/C in our unit, but overall we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Dominic!
The property is a wonderful taste of an old working farm. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. You can walk to the river and Xunantunich. We enjoyed the sounds of the jungle, the amazing sunsets, delicious breakfast and Dominic’s friendliness and knowledge of the area tremendously. We look forward to returning.
The proprietor Dennis was awesome. The area has a wealth of sites, sights, swimming, culture and a natural beauty.
He’s an interesting and worldly man. Knows of all to see in the area amd there are horses to ride right down the road. He undersells this booking as to not disappoint. I’d say you would be hard pressed to find a flaw in this property.
Outstanding service. Quiet. Comfortable.
This property was so peaceful and beautiful and restful. It was just what we needed after a long day of traveling. Dominic was so helpful and social. He’s a really nice man.
They have drinking water in the common room and they have dinner family style.
The room was clean and even had tea and snacks and a hair dryer!
I’ll be back someday! Highly recommended.
Soooo beautiful, owner and staff are very accommodating. Peaceful with view of Xunanitunich, old family farm. Breakfast fresh and amazing. Rooms are tiny and quaint but very comfortable . No TV but wifi is good . Saw toucans and parrots as well as lots of farm animals. Love to visit again!
I can’t say enough good things about Nabitubich, Dominic, and his family. A unique and wonderful experience. We met several guests there that we continued to travel with in Caye Caulker. Great food, incredible scenery, comfortable lodging, and amazing people. Don’t hesitate to stay here. We would definitely return.
The most spectacular experience. You can see the top of Xunantunich from the property. In fact there are still some ruins on this site. The birds definitely won’t disappoint. List to the howler monkeys and the birds on the morning. The included breakfast is superb and dinner on site is always tasty.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Great for a farm & sunset. Not all buildings had AC (a must). No TV & split building was easy to hear neighbor talking at normal volume. Dominic & staff were great. Common area was great. Food was good. Atmosphere was good, but descriptions like "farm tour available" were a stretch. Asked about it & seemed like it they weren't sure what we were talking about. If you want great sunset, "eco-friendly" & really interactive/knowledgeable host in a unique rural setting, probably the best place to stay in the country
