Nice room and kind staff! Good price and location to walk everywhere. I’m a single woman and there was definitely some… “adult” only activity going on here. However, no one bothered me and the hotel was a good stay nonetheless despite the activity lol.

All staff was lovely except the deep voice guy at front desk was impatient or mysoginistic or something. Girl in cafe and housekeeping were amazing! The staff are kind and helpful, the rooms are clean and lovely, and the restaurant has great food! Only 5 mins from the airport too.

Barceló San José
The most wonderful bed. The windows opened wide. Great staff, super clean, nice shower. Will stay again if we have the opportunity. It was worth a stay of more than one night!
