"I hate to always point out the worse, but other than these problems, it was a great experience. The toilet in Room 426 did not operate correctly, and there seemed to be some mold in the shower. The elevator smelled of recent solvent fumes, and the floor was sticky for all three days of our stay. Breakfast was adequate but cold. Ice machines were only available on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The staff was great. "

"Loudest hotel room I've ever experienced. From the neighbors' doors slamming, to the elephants walking around above and flushing their toilet, the A/C that sounded like we were on a boat, housekeeping slamming drawers and the guy in the connecting room hacking up a lung, it wasn't the quietest stay. We checked out a day early. Otherwise, breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast. Didn't change from day to day though. Getting a room with the bay view is totally worth it. A few restaurants are within walking distance. "

"The hotel room floor was dirty; it looked like it had not been vacuumed for several days. The shower spray would only work at 50%, problem with the shower faucet. The hotel only provided one bar of hand soap, nothing for taking a shower and does not provide any shampoo at all. This hotel has the smallest toilets I've ever seen, not good for most adults. There was a big roach in the bathroom one morning. The TV remote batteries needed to be changed."

"This hotel is always are go to stay when we are in Rockport. They serve a really good breakfast with many options. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist with answering any questions you may have. They even have a small area to purchase snacks/food for when you don’t want to drive out to get fast food. Our room was nice and cozy and the beds were comfortable. The parking lot is also very well lit and I felt comfortable enough to leave our ice chest and folding chairs in the bed of our truck. I highly recommend this hotel. "
