Beautiful property, very convenient central location to explore SMA, and very kind, helpful staff. I visited in Jan/Feb 2026 and the weather was too cold to try the pool in the courtyard but it looked very nice and relaxing. Stayed in a junior suite with 2 double beds, which was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. I would skip the free breakfast (not much offered) and try some of the many cafes and restaurants closeby with much more worthwhile options.

The hotel is charming, and the staff is attentive and responsive! Victor made us feel so welcome - I feel as though I now have a friend in San Miguel! Our room was spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable - crisp sheets, a warm coverlet, and lots of pillows! Breakfast includes coffee, rolls, fruit and eggs and is served in the hotel's beautiful inner courtyard. The tiled jacuzzi adjoining the pool was heated for each afternoon and felt wonderful after a long day of walking. There is lots of comfortable seating provided outside for reading or sunning. The hotel's location is in the central zone, and very convenient for sight-seeing.

This is quite simply a gem of a small hotel. We appreciated the quiet, adults only, beautiful, and calm atmosphere within the property. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the water pressure great… Three of the most important qualities of a hotel room! Fantastic Stay at Hotel Concepción – Warm Hospitality & Great Location Hotel Concepción was the perfect home base during my visit—centrally located just a few blocks from the markets, the main square, and a charming bakery just two blocks away. What truly set this hotel apart was the outstanding service. The staff arranged everything I needed, including airport transportation, a memorable cooking class, a breathtaking hot air balloon ride, a guided historical walking tour, and even a six-hour excursion to nearby cities. A special thank you to Geraldo, Danielle, Victor, and the entire team for making my stay so smooth and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality made all the difference. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel that's very close to the action in SMDA. The rooms were lovely and well-appointed, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was so good, lots of fresh fruit, good coffee, chilaquiles and eggs... a great way to start the day.

The staff was incredible and really went out of their way to tend to our needs. They were very helpful in helping with dining options, tours (especially with Jesus) and arranging transportation for us. The morning breakfast was always incredible. We had a wonderful experience visiting San Miguel de Allende, and staying at Concepcion Boutique Hotel, which is a quiet and charm boutique hotel with great location and easy walking access to all points of interest in the city. The whole service and staff (Breakfast, Reception, and management) were fantastic, and friendly, contributing to a great weekend experience. Planning to return in the near future.

Beautiful hotel located near the center of SMA. The hotel grounds were artistic and colorful and maintained in immaculate condition. Our room was large and well appointed, and housekeeping let everything clean and well stocked. The pool provided a wonderful break after a day of site seeing. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit and made to order eggs and veggies. A little expensive, but well worth it.
