"Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended."

"The room was clean but under the bed was very dusty. A handle fell off the door to the balcony. Reported this to reception and it was repaired the same day. Two lights not working in the bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Level of English good when required. Air conditioning excellent. Parking good. Free in the sun. We paid for underground secutr parking. Good breakfast buffet."

"The hotel was very clean, and the staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. The stove and cooking equipment were very useful and convenient, especially for preparing meals during our stay. The breakfast was not bad, but it could use a little more variety. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would definitely recommend staying here."

"The staff was incredibly helpful and carried my heavier baggage to my room. They made sure I knew where everything was and what time breakfast was served. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, including gluten free breads, which I especially appreciated as I have an intolerance. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of clean towels."

"Very friendly staff. My shower seems to have been blocked as the water had built up and sadly there was a gap in the frame for the water to escape, it flooded the bathroom but the staff couldn’t have been better or faster to deal with it. This isn’t a complaint I just felt it should be mentioned."
