"Our stay here was nothing short of exceptional. The location is perfect—just a short, easy walk from the train station, even with our luggage, and only steps from the beach. Everything in Monterosso is within walking distance. The staff made this our favorite stay we've ever had. This charming, family-owned hotel truly makes you feel like part of the family. Every morning we were greeted with warm smiles and delicious cappuccinos, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The breakfast was incredible, with fresh juice, a wonderful selection of food, and a beautiful terrace where we loved starting each day. The cold filtered water machine was an especially thoughtful touch during the heat wave. Our room was absolutely spotless, and the entire property was impeccably maintained. There is no elevator, but we knew that when we booked and were fully prepared to carry our luggage. To top it off, one of the staff members even kindly offered to carry our very heavy bags downstairs when we checked out. Travelling together, we've stayed in hotels across many countries over the past several years, and this was, without question, our favorite stay of all. We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place or the people who run it. A perfect 12/10—we would return in a heartbeat."

"We were very happy with our room. We were able to walk to our room from the train station. The breakfast buffet was good. The only complaint we had would be our shower. The way the doors are set up it was difficult to get into the shower. We did hike to the next village-Vernazza. Although it was a challenging hike, especially in the heat, we were able to finish. An accomplishment for being 66 years old. We do exercise but don’t hike so we were proud to have done it."
