There were dead bugs all through the room, rusted mirror, crack in the door, filthy bed, smelled like cigarette smoke. Didn’t even stay at the property.

The motel is ok. The self check-in worked. But it is a problem in August, when the ac doesn't work and nobody is there trying to fix it (complaint via email remained unresponded). The pool is fine. One should also know that there is a railway track right next to the motel. Therefore, from time to time a freight train runs acoustically through your sleeping room, also during weekends. When the train driver whistled it was even louder than the ac in the room, where it worked.

There was no staff on property which was a surprise. Room was small for 2 queen room but it served its purpose. We used a code to get in our room, no issues. At one point someone was trying to enter a code on our door. It didn’t work but if u stay there, use the latch lock just in case

DO NOT STAY HERE

I wish I actually got to stay here, but unfortunately I was NOT given the chance to. To preface this, I am not a reviewer, nor am I usually the one to complain. However, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a hotel/motel. I booked through hotels.com, I have booked there before and had no issues. I received a confirmation email about my booking from hotels.com on the day I booked (in June). When I showed up to the property, we noticed there was no staff in the office. We read a piece of paper left on the door that said to check our email for information on “self-serve” check in. I checked my email, I SCOURED my email and found NOTHING from the property or hotels.com since the original confirmation email. I even double checked the check in times and everywhere I looked it said check in starts at 3pm. There was no window given for cut off either. We arrived at the location at roughly 10:00 pm. I had to end up booking somewhere else last minute so we didn’t have to sleep in the car. I messaged the property that night and my partner and I also both tried calling that night to no avail. We had cedar point the next day, so we weren’t planning on immediately contacting the property. When we woke up this morning, I noticed an email from the property at 8:53 am. It had the room number and entry code. I decided to call the property and they directed me to hotels.com. Hotels.com then needed up contacting the property directly and they basically told me I would only ge

This is usually my go to hotel. This time my sink kept getting stopped up, the shower drain was loose, the toilet didn't want to flush, holes in the sheet that covered the bed and bugs flying everywhere.

I've stayed at this location several times with no issues. It's a budget motel so I don't have unrealistic expectations, and while the rooms are basic and outdated, the staff was always welcoming and inviting. I don't know if the management has changed, but the motel moved to self serve check in. My check in email was supposed to arrive by 12pm, it was delivered at 8:15pm. The email was missing our room code and I had to call a line several times before someone could let us in. The entire room smelled like mildew and all the linens were damp. The AC unit was so loud that we could barely sleep. They replaced the black out curtains with thin paper blinds, which did nothing to block out the bright lights from outside our room. It was like trying to sleep with a spot light on our window. I tried to go to the office in the morning, but nobody was there, even in normal business hours. I made multiple calls to the listed number and nobody picked up. It's a shame because we enjoyed going to Quality Motel for you our yearly trips to Cedar Point and I don't think we will ever go back.

This place was absolutely disgusting. Within 2 minutes of opening the door and inspecting everything and taking many pictures, I immediately closed the door and tried to find someone around but no one was available. The bed was unmade and stains everywhere looking like blood, the smell of the place was horrendous. We left in search of a hospitable hotel. After contacting this place they said there's no record of us informing them and leaving early. No refund issued.

I stayed at Quality Lodge several times under the previous ownership. The rooms are old and dated, but the previous owners had those rooms spotless and it was a quaint place to stay. I returned and had such a disappointing experience. The room was dirty, walking barefoot on the carpet had my feet black in seconds. The shower had black dirt in it, presumably from dirty feet from the carpet from the previous tenant. But the worst part was that my room had a very strong smell of stale cigarettes. Not the fresh smoke in a bar smell (which is terrible as well) but the combination of must and past cigarettes that gets on your hair and clothes if you spend more than 90 seconds in the room. Unfortunately there is no staff on site, which was a problem because I was not sent the arrival email and had to spend a significant amount of time trying to call to get my credentials. Many great memories at this hotel, but never again.

They are remodeling "I get that" however.... I went there to go to Cedar Point and figured I would just use the room to get some sleep, so didn't need fancy. Ok, so the room had an air conditioner from 1975 and it could not cool the room. I sat on the bed and it flipped up, like a see saw. The room was like a remodeled garden shed. They did have real hotel rooms but they were in the remodel process. It will be fine in a year or so but not ready for guests yet. This time hotels.com got me.
