The Anchor Inn

"Very quaint little motel, beautifully renovated, the king studio is very nice modern and elegant furnishings. Staff was very helpful and extremely polite. Self check in was very easy, once I read the message from the staff, everything you need is at the facility. Location is is perfect, midisland lots of restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute drive. We will definitely be staying here in the future. I highly recommend."

"9.5/10. They just need a pool. Ken was great at checkin. Very friendly and informative. Our room was ready by 2pm. Location is awesome. Literally on the beach. The suite was clean and spacious. I mentioned it was a special occasion and they wrote me a personal letter w/ a bottle of champagne which came in handle for mimosas in the morning. Our only mistake was to book one night. We will be back!"

"Great place to stay. Always check your invoice because they had extra charges on my bill and place a huge hold on CC for deposit and takes time for return. It could be the bank too. They also charged me by error and refunded but still haven’t received after few days.the amenities were great and the beach! Also entrance with wood little bridge really scared us. I believe they fixed while we were there. Lots of bugs !! Maybe property should clean up trees and fumigate because we were bit by noseeums"

"Housekeeping Cynthia was so kind and super sweet! Poor bar staff was incredible and attentive! Checking in was depressing because the lady clearly didn’t want to be there. We walked in all excited and she was awful and kept making comments to the lady standing next to her at the other computer (wish we would have gone to her instead). Then there was no parking even though we paid for it. We noticed only a few cars had parking passes and the rest didn’t. Then people were hogging 6+ chairs at 7am by the pool which is insanity. So we couldn’t get chairs. We were there all day and barely any of the chairs were being used. We’ve been coming here for decades but it’s changed a lot. Wish they would fix these major issues."
