"Quiet, clean, straightforward accommodations. A/C cooled and dehumidified the room. Bathroom faucet has only cool water. Bed is comfortable. Clothing rail rather than closet had ample wood hangars."

"This hotel is conveniently booked close (but not too close) to the busiest parts of Santa Cruz- so you can get around easily, but it’s not too loud. The only noise to be aware of is the school nearby- which we found endearing and not disruptive. There is a simple but tasty breakfast offered. And the staff were helpful in arranging a taxi for an early morning check out. A fun but sometimes disruptive part of the rooms are the hammocks- but even when it got in the way, I still enjoyed the...

"Sometimes you go to a place where they make you feel like family. Thats how we felt at Maidith. Elvira and Carlos, the proprietors, were kind, helpful, and just all around amazing people.
The hotel is definitely one of the best….the Gaudi inspired architecture is so lovely. The room was spotless our entire stay. The shower was hot and the AC was cold. The hotel is close to everything! 10/10"
