Really great shuttle bus service from the airport. Room was big and comfy. Kind, helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was a little basic for the money.

Excellent Friendly Helpful Staff.
Excellent helpful staff! Great location! Clean quiet rooms. Within walking distance to many car rental places and gas station. The restaurant has great food and large portions! Sangria was amazing! Will be back next time I need a place to stay that is by the airport and car rentals!

Comfy, Tasty and convenient
Friendly staff. Great restaurant. We stayed here one night as so close and convenient for Santiago airport as we had a very early morning checkin. The hotel has a great airport shuttle service and it takes less than 10 minutes to get there. Thanks

GNO El Camino 2023 Texas
We arrived with Jet Lag and this Ruta Jacobea was exactly the place to rest and eat the most delicious paella! Great breakfast on departure. Highly recommend them to all!

This is a beautiful property. It is adjacent to those arriving off of the Camino trails. The rooms are spacious and comfy. The food is traditional and filled with flavor. My gosh soooo delicious. The bar area is comfy and friendly too. The staff really makes this property just a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate. Raquel at the front. David was at the bar. Just wonderful staff. .

An absolute excellent stay yor us.
An absolute excellent stay for us. Everything was clean, comfortable & convenient. On the 6A bus route from Santiago de Compostela & the free shuttle took us to the airport the following morning. The professional staff were very friendly.

Underwhelming and loud
Shuttle was convenient, but for the price this place is very underwhelming. The rooms look like an old open office where furniture was just sort of thrown in there to be a “hotel room.” It was clean, but outdated and uncomfortable. The beds were not comfortable, but I would say the worst part is hearing every single thing. It sounded like the windows were open with how loud the cars were and we could hear everything from other rooms on our floor, including people snoring. I understand it was Mother’s Day and so they were busy, but it felt like we were inconveniencing them when we checked in or asked any questions. Service just didn’t seem very pleasant at all.

The mattress were very tiny and hard, we could hear everything in the other rooms, even if they drop a pen, we could hardly sleep that nigh, they were very nice to hold our luggage while we did the Camino, that was the main reason we booked that hotel, besides that it was a very inconvenient location, not close to anything, and in my opinion very expensive.

Convenient airport hotel with fabulous food
Great location for airport and free, comfortable shuttle service. Hotel room was large and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. I ate in the restaurant and the food was a fabulous choice of local delicacies which was outstanding.

Good Hotel - very helpful staff. For the price, we felt that breakfast should have been included - we were not told that it was not, until we sat down to eat. Very clean.

Horrible!!!
Super friendly and helpful desk staff, but room was SO depressing we left early. Had spent a week walking the Camino in very minimal accommodations and this was the worst by far. Bedding, walls, carpet all filthy. We happily “left” our $90 Euro charge and left straight to Santiago.

Was walking Camino Frances and as there were no rooms left in amenal, this hotel sent its hotel taxi to pick us up and also arranged our return the following morning to continue our walk. The food was good, but the servers were very hasty to collect our plates, even before we had finished. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The lady on reception even made us a cup of coffee early morning before we left

This hotel is very nice and quiet. The other issue that I had with my room is that there were few outlets and they were all far from the bed. Additionally the room was a little dark in the evening even with the lamps on. But everything else about my stay was great! The hotel was very accommodating to get me to the airport at 5:00 am!

Our room was very simple and basic. Hotel could use some upgrading. It had a “fatiqued” look and feel. Although close to the airport it was probably worth staying in Santiago. Sadly, I would not recommend.

Great Hotel
We walked the Camino so we stayed in many hotels throughout Spain and I would have to say that this was the best. Great way to spend our last night before Santiago.

Ruta Jacobea is extremely convenient to the Santiago de Compostela airport, and provides a shuttle to the airport starting at 7 am. Our room was clean and spacious though basic in terms of decorating and amenities, and staff were very friendly.

Hotel Ruta Jacobea
We were pleasantly surprised. Stayed one night because of proximity to airport. Staff was professional and service was excellent. Restaurant and Cafe on premises and 24 hour food from Cafe available. Room was clean and spacious. Free transportation to airport available. Would recommend to anyone needing a room close to airport.

Nice little clean hotel close to the airport which arrange a pick up service for you. All in all a positive experience! Only negative would be the beds which could be a little comfier!

Excellent location near Guggenheim, river walk, and local restaurants and shops. The front desk staff was very nice, although the lobby space is somewhat limited. There is a public room for guests to hang out on the 2nd floor which has newspapers, coffee, tea, water. The guest room was an adequate size, with International TV stations and wifi. Very good value.
