The property was in lovely condition looked really nice outside and inside my room was also as described really spotless the view from the Balcony was outstanding yes this is a really good hotel nothing i can say to fault it because there wasn't any thank you to all the really friendly staff in the hotel

Great stay

A great central place for a visit to Saranda. The staff was very helpful and the run plus cleaning in good standard. We got a lot of help from the staff with booking taxis, very helpful. The view over the city and water from the balcony was amazing

Liars and thieves

Im sorry but i can not recommend this place because what happened. The owners/managers are liars and thieves. We booked a night and when we arrived late in the evening they said that there is no room left, everything was paid for. After exhausting discussions on what to do since their english isn't good we were taken to a "very good hotel". After a dreadful car ride to the unknown we were greeted at a random apartment complex by strangers and found out that that would be our stay for the night. We were charged another payment of 7000all for this so called "hotel" which had no name. It was an ordinary apartment complex. We did not recieve receipts from this place. After contacting Hotels.com customer service the owners of hotel iliria lied that they had gotten us the stay for free which is false and the owners know this since i asked them if we were going to be charged another time for the new "hotel" and they said yes, 55 euros or 7000all. I am now 65 euros poorer since hotels.com will not refund our initial stay at iliria which i booked without a receipt from the final "hotel" which we were taken to and the owners of hotel iliria will not come clean about the truth to hotels.com representatives investigating this. Sure they got us a place and i am grateful for that and i know 65 euros isnt that much but all i ask for is a little honesty and selflessness from them. And that is why i cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Ganz neues Hotel (noch nicht ganz fertiggestelt)

Ein ganz herzliches Willkommen empfing uns. Das Hotel wird von den Inhabern selbst geführt, die sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht sind. Zum Frühstück gibt es Landestypisches, nicht als Buffet, sondern extra frisch gemacht und nach Wunsch. Herrlicher Meerblick bis nach Korfu über den ganzen Golf von Saranda vom großen Balkon aus. Innen im Haus ist alles in Marmor ausgestattet. Parkplatz ist direkt vor dem Haus. Man kann aber gut zu Fuß zur Stadt gehen, in 15 Min. ist man auf der schönen Uferpromenade der Stadt. Wir haben von dort aus viele Ausflüge unternehmen können, nach Butrint, Ghirokaster, zur Quelle "Blaues Auge" und an die albanische Riviera.

Siamo stati due notti in questo "hotel", lo staff sarà anche gentile ma quando gli ho detto che volevo cambiare stanza per delle formiche nel letto il boss non è stato molto felice. Camera poco pulita, letti scomodi che perdevano gli assi, durante la notte c'era un rumore perenne dell'impianto idraulico. Buono il parcheggio e la posizione. Da specificare che l'hotel ha più piani e fino al secondo le stanze sono vecchie, dal terzo in poi sono nuove, la double room non é la king room.

Hotel Iliria,Saranda

Hotel is in the other side of the road.There is a beach near by where you can pay for sunbeds and parasols.Rooms that we booked through Hotels.com were not in good shape.They were clean , but need updating. Breakfast was OK. There is also private parking in front of hotel free of charge.Wi-Fi was OK.The hotel is managed by a family wich are very helpful and try to fullfill all your needs.

Deceptive Marketing. Kicked out of Hotel Room.

Buyer Beware- inaccurate description on website. Hotel is NOT beachfront and checkout time is NOT 11AM as listed online, but rather 10AM as listed on the "rules and regulations" sheet in each room. Also on this sheet, you will note that towels and sheets are NOT changed daily but once every three days. Even with the deceptive marketing, we decided to stay at this hotel. On the last day, while I was eating my breakfast at 8:30 AM, the maid came over to me asked for my key. I told her that I would not be leaving until the 10 check out time and needed my key. After breakfast, i go to my room only to find the door wide open and the maid stripping the sheets and cleaning the room. I was told that the owner told her to clean my room because other guests were waiting to take it. i told the maid that I paid for my room and would not be leaving at 8:30. She called the owner over the phone and I could hear her saying to him "Yes, i told her that there were others waiting." I called the company that I booked the hotel from and they tried calling the owners directly and was hung up on. In all my years of international travel, I have never been kicked out of a hotel room an hour and a half prior to checkout because another guest was waiting. Potential Buyers- There are many beautiful properties in Saranda that are actually located on the beach. I highly recommend you save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.
