"The room smelled so strongly of disinfectant that I could not stay there. I felt like they were trying to cover up a worse smell. We tried airing out the room but nothing helped and then I got an asthma attack from it. The bed had clearly been slept in and the covers just pulled up. The door was open when we arrived--we were a little scared to go in. When we shut the door, the gaps on the top, bottom and sides were large enough that we could see outside--which means someone could see INside! After about 15 minutes we decided to cut our losses and hightailed it out of there. Truly a nightmare!"

"Overall, we found the hotel to be cute. The staff was very welcoming. The beds were very comfortable. The decor was contemporary and funky unfortunately, they have one sliding door that either doubles as the shower door or the bathroom door so you can’t use both at the same time and have privacy in both rooms. Also, the way the mirror is positioned you can actually see someone showering from the master bedroom. There’s also the vanity sink is in the master bedroom itself so if someone is sleeping and someone else wants to use the vanity they cannot do it without disturbing the other guest. There were exposed outlets with no outlet plates on our balcony and wires exposed hanging out of the ceiling, which can’t be safe and certainly is unsightly. The breakfast buffet was all junk food- like waffles, cereal, bagels. There was no fruit so if you’re hoping for healthy breakfast options, it’s not the best. Overall, I feel like it was good value for the price, but they definitely need to do a little cleanup and attention to detail. I would still definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. I just hope they read this review and make those adjustments. "

"Staff was extremely friendly. Restaurant was good. My only recommendation is request a room off the away from the atrium if you are a light sleeper. Downtown noise carries."

"Just really disappointed! I walk in with my daughter a man behind a desk doing something. I unload my backpack and I hear someone saying something so I looked the man behind the desk has his back turned toward me. He wasn’t even looking at me. Then again I hear someone calling so I turned around and I see an atm mashine with a screen and a man in a screen. So I walked in and he said I can check you in. My goodness small little hotel with a robot. Man behind ignores me completely as I looked at them. Anyway I check in got to my room. Right from entrance strong odor. Used the bathroom and realize there is no fan. Try closing the door, they don’t close at all as they are bent. Went to wash my face just to see roaches running around. Cought up few. We looked forward to a good night sleep but it was extremely loud and th bathroom smelled really bad. In the morning housekeeping people opened a room and started asking questions. I had to say we are sleeping. 9:35 am. Anyway we checked out but never stay here again. This place is not very safe either. The area is kind of creepy. "
