Loved every minute of our stay, room was big and bathroom clean, pool was a nice touch with the weather being so warm, staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast but I'm sure it was just as amazing as the hotel. Location was closed enough to the centre but not too close.

The friendliest welcome ever! Teddy (the spaniel) and I had an excellent stay in this beautiful house. We were looked after extremely well and look forward to returning.

Great welcome, spacious accommodation, generous breakfast. Perfect location for exploring the area.

We’ve just spent a week at Hôtel Au Relais Saint Maurice, and it was a real highlight of our holiday. The hotel is a beautiful old house, full of character and history stretching back hundreds of years. Maurice, the owner, is absolutely dedicated to the place and to his guests – nothing is too much trouble, and his care shows in every detail. Breakfast was a real treat each morning, with homemade food and an incredible range of choices, all served in the peaceful courtyard or the amazing dining...

Superb hotel. Fantastic position by river, in old town below Chateau. Very comfortable room, stylish decor and impeccable service. Lovely big bathroom with picture windows (with curtains...). Great, fresh breakfast, served at your table. Excellent range of Scotch Whiskey too!

We had an absoloutely wonderful two night stay with our toddler at Cave Auger. The upstairs family apartment was perfect for us , and we were particularly grateful for the excellent air con during one of the heatwaves earlier this year. The pool was great - warm and immaculately clean. Stéphane was the most welcoming host - and we particularly enjoyed the dinner on the terrace that was all local produce, and it came with our own little barrel of delicious wine. Breakfast similarly...

Had the most friendly of welcomes and the staff could not do enough to ensure our stay was pleasurable. A very short walk away was the town with its many restaurants and shops however there is a restaurant on site. There is secure parking or off road parking. Breakfast exceeded expectations with a wide choice of cold meat, cheese and pastries, cereals and cooked food. The coffee was excellent.

Really lovely hosts. Happy, smiley people & nothing too much trouble. Enjoyable evening meal and good breakfast..

Fabulous stay in a quaint building sympathetically restored. A highly quality guesthouse and host was very welcoming. Made minor alterations to the breakfast which made our stay even better as the children happy with food choices. The host has a fab website with links to shops and restaurants and made our overnight stop incredible.

Excellent location, very clean and parking a real bonus. Two minor issues, water left in kettle and automatic light in toilet was like a search light coming on, when getting up in the night. A real waku up call.

Excellent , convenient and owner and staff excellent. I would use again and fantastic restaurant just down the road.

This delightful old property in the countryside, with a welcoming host, diner was served in the garden & breakfast was very satisfying. We only stayed the one night while en-route through France, but could have stayed longer.

I can't fault this wonderful manoir - Francois and Dominique were the perfect hosts Beautiful large room with a lovely, comfortable 4 poster bed. Very well appointed and full of beautiful antiques Dinner and breakfast were superb and the attention to detail quite lovely The manor is in a beautiful setting close to the Loire River It was lovely to practice our French with Francois and Dominique - if we are in the area again we will most definitely come back I would highly recommend this manoir

Room, shower, toilet spotlessly clean. Unique & pleasant decor in room & restaurant.
