"This is buy far one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The 2 ladies that were working with us were kind, thoughtful and very attentive. "The front desk staff were welcoming and so helpful with taxis, information about restaurants and everything. The breakfast on the rooftop was nice and the breakfast staff wonderful too. They were so sweet. The room was great. The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home! The hotel was quiet, allowing us to get rest. "A stylish hotel, we had a lovely room overlooking Via Flaminia. Ferocious air con kept us cool,the staff were polite and helpful. We booked our trip to the Vatican Museums through the hotel once there. The only small drawback.was a problem with one of the elevators. Other than this, I would strongly recommend this hotel. We had a happy time in Rome and we would definitely stay in the River Palace Hotel again in future."

"We booked 2 different hotels in Rome both near the Termini before and after a cruise and while the other hotel had much better reviews on Expedia - we thought Gioberti was the BETTER hotel.
