"This guest house is such a hidden jam! Lovely restored farm house in beautiful setting, spacious room (we had triple with private room), amazing variety of breakfast offered for you to pick. Knowing how groceries are expensive in Iceland, I find the host is extremely generous. You can even cook your dinner in the shared kitchen if you like, (though we went out for dinner to town, we were very happy with their lamb chop). "The accommodation was away from the main building, half a mile away, at a desolate area, full of vehicule carcasses. We would have liked more attention to details, little things that seem insignificant, but makes a difference for guests. For instance, no toilet roll holders, shower gels where left on the very bottom of the floor, duck tape to cover a huge hole at the bottom of the toilet seat. Plumbing pipes are left unobstructed in the room, poking right out of the wall."

"Remote property (with some construction vehicles around the property ) but I think most of the hotels are remote in this area. Great location - close to Vik and other attractions. A little expensive for what you get. Small Room was clean and included breakfast was delicious. Would stay again."
