"A great little place to stay. Right in the middle of where you want to be with free parking on the surrounding streets. Very friendly place and done out nicely whilst retaining the character of the property. Very quiet with comfy beds. I even got an ice bucket for my milk! Adam is very helpful, putting a fan in the bedroom. Will definitely be back."

"Started with a booking issue via Expedia (small double rather than a king-sized bed booked) but resolved directly with the Hosts. Great location, opposite the park and lovely, solid furniture in the room. Parking permits available in the property for a small fee worked well. Just the shower could do with an update. If we visit again, I'd book a room with a bath."

"Nice big room and bathroom, the only downside was staying there during a hot spell and the bathroom got the sum very early morning and the bedroom for the rest of the day making it unbearable to sleep in, even though there was a fan provided. The bottom sheet didnt fit the bed properly so with shuffling due to the heat it didnt stay on for long. Great location and a good base for visiting the area and plenty of parking. We had breakfast but wished we hadnt as it was very disappointing when compared to those experienced when staying in other pubs. There was a choice of cereal, yogurt and a small hot menu which was fine, but the quality of produce wasnt great. Would we stay here again probably, but just skip the food."
